Amanda is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and practices otolaryngology at Adult & Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Health Services from Western Michigan University, then returned to Western Michigan University for her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. Before attending the PA program, she was a scribe at this same office and is excited to be back. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as a member of the Michigan Academy of Physician Assistants.
Her previous experience in medicine was in primary care, focusing on preventative medicine and treating chronic conditions. She is eager to work closely with her patients to determine the best treatment plan for each individual.
She appreciates staying active with hiking, walking, biking or paddle boarding with her husband. She may also be found reading in a coffee shop, playing board games, or visiting family.
